Who can resist the major players on Patriots' Weekend: English, American and French! From the intimate musical portrayal of Sir Edward Elgar's private English circle of friends - and even a proper bulldog - in the Enigma Variations, to the fiery American individualism of West Side Story and the French sensuality of Ravel's Bolero, this afternoon concert is not to be missed.
