LEXINGTON SYMPHONY RINGS IN THE SEASON OF GIVING WITH AFFORDABLE HOLIDAY POPS FOR EVERYONE
This holiday season marks Lexington Symphony’s inaugural Holiday Pops concert at Cary Hall on December 5th at 8:00pm. Featured guests include Santa, Halalisa Singers, Lexington High School Madrigals, and friends from Lincoln-Sudbury High School’s singing group Accent A Cappella. Music Director Jonathan McPhee will lead a collection of holiday favorites, from Winter Wonderland to Sleigh Ride. In the spirit of giving, and to include all ages and as many as possible from the community and beyond, tickets are priced at $15 for adults and free for kids 18 and under.
Holiday Pops is one of several events taking place on Lexington Holiday Festival Night, which begins at 4:00pm in the downtown area and includes special shopping, dining, performances, and the annual tree-lighting ceremony with the arrival of Santa. The concert will be a chance for all to come in out of the cold and enjoy the spirit of the holidays through fun, best-loved music presented live with full orchestra. Come ready to sing along!
Lexington Symphony’s Holiday Pops is made possible through the generosity of Brookline Bank and Watertown Savings Bank. Lexington Symphony performances are funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Tickets to Lexington Symphony’s Holiday Pops can be purchased in person at Wales Copy, 1810 Mass. Ave. and The Crafty Yankee, 1838 Mass. Ave. Tickets are also available on-line at lexingtonsymphony.org or by phone at (781) 863-9581. Cary Hall is T-accessible and located at 1605 Mass. Ave., Lexington Center, next to Town Hall.
