As a Friend of the Symphony, your gift provides the support necessary to bring renowned artists and thrilling musical experiences to our community—experiences that would not be possible without these donations.

Thanks to Friends, Lexington Symphony is able to perform exciting works with a large number of players, engage first-rate guest soloists, and cover costs associated with special programming. 

Friends’ generous contributions are typically $1,000 and above.

Composers throughout history have captured the struggles and triumphs of cultures being preserved during times of turmoil. Through Verdi capturing the struggle of the Jewish people exiled from their homeland to Canteloube preserving the culture of the Auvergne region and Hindemith understanding the struggles of World War II, this concert will inspire and uplift.
