Scored for strings, clarinet, bassoon and French horn, Lexington Seniors will experience Beethoven’s Septet Opus 20, which is one of his most popular chamber works both of his time as well as ours. First performed in 1800, it is a great example of Beethoven taking the classical style of the Divertimento and bringing his more Romantic complexity to the form.

Lexington Seniors will enjoy a delightful hour of music featuring Lexington Symphony principal clarinet Bill Kirkley, concertmaster and violinist Scott Moore, violinist Erica Pisaturo, violist Brandon White, and principal cellist Nathaniel Lathrop, performing music for clarinet and string quartet by Mozart and Brahms. This concert will be performed after the Senior luncheon in the Dining Hall.

Lexington Seniors will enjoy an array of pieces by composers Caroline Shaw, Florence Price, Danish String Quartet, Amanda Röntgen-Maier, and Fannie Hensel Mendelssohn, to be performed by violinists, Jessica Amidon and Nicola Payne, violist, Emily Rideout, and cellist Young Sook Lee.
