Endowment
Elizabeth Whitfield EndowED CONCERTMASTER CHAIR Fund
Former concertmaster Elizabeth Whitfield
In honor of former long-time tenured concertmaster, Elizabeth Whitfield, the Symphony established the Elizabeth Whitfield Endowed Concertmaster Chair Fund in 2023.
Consider a gift of lasting impact to the Elizabeth Whitfield Endowed Concertmaster Chair Fund
Lexington Symphony's Board of Directors established the Elizabeth Whitfield Endowed Concertmaster Chair Fund to honor Liz upon her retirement as concertmaster and to celebrate the tremendous role she played in nurturing and supporting Lexington Symphony since its inception. The investment proceeds from this endowment will help underwrite the concertmaster position in perpetuity.
As a special incentive, your gift to this fund can have double the impact — thanks to a matching challenge grant commitment of $50,000 from Deborah and David Brown.
Please contact the Lexington Symphony Office for more information.
