Lexington Symphony’s 2026-2027 Season

We invite you to join us for a vibrant, diverse, and culturally inclusive new season.

The season opens in October with award-winning Van Cliburn pianist Clayton Stephenson performing Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Two new soloists will join us later in the season: our very own Principal Violist Emily Rideout in November performing Giya Kancheli’s Styx, and Romanian violinist Irina Muresanu in March performing Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate’s Hattak Hiloha Violin Concerto.

Maestro McPhee will give a new twist to our signature Holiday POPS! programs, featuring Howard Blake’s The Snowman—based on the book by Raymond Briggs—narrated by Regie Gibson, along with our traditional audience sing-along.

In February, our Lunar New Year collaboration with the Chinese American Association of Lexington will feature a vibrant program including John Adams’s The Chairman Dances, Maurice Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, and Zhao Jiping’s Symphony No. 1.

The season concludes with a vibrant finale featuring works by Claude Debussy, Rodion Shchedrin, and Aaron Copland.

It all adds up to another season you won’t want to miss!

Don’t miss Maestro Jonathan McPhee’s pre-concert talks at 6:30PM!

Single tickets for all performances are on sale now, as shown below.
