Lexington Symphony’s 2025-2026 Season
Your Music, Your Orchestra, Your Community
We are honored and delighted to collaborate with the Lex250 Commission in commemorating the Semiquincentennial celebration of the Battle of Lexington hosted by the Town of Lexington, Massachusetts. The new 2025-2026 season is the second of two seasons with programs designed to tie into the Semiquincentennial theme, America Unfinished, as identified by the Lex250 committee and according to its lecture series. This season marks the Symphony’s 31st since its founding.
We hope you’ll join us for our vibrant, diverse, and culturally resilient new season! Performances include compositions by Hindemith, Mascagni, Schumann, Sheng, Anger, Colin McPhee, and Stravinsky, our very own Concertmaster Scott Moore performing Rimsky -Korsakov’s Scheherazade, award-winning Van Cliburn pianist Clayton Stephenson performing Brahms, our signature Holiday POPS! programs with the Lexington Children’s Chorus and New World Chorale, a magnificent morin khuur concerto by Anger to be performed by Mongolian artist Monkho in collaboration with the Chinese American Association of Lexington, British violinist and pedagogue, Callum Smart performing Shostakovich and a performance of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream by the Lexington Children’s Chorus. It all adds up to another season you won’t want to miss!
