Lexington Symphony’s 2025-2026 Season
We hope you’ll join us for our vibrant, diverse, and culturally inclusive new season!
The season opens with Concertmaster Scott Moore performing Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade in September. Two returning soloists will join us in October and March: Van Cliburn competition finalist Clayton Stephenson will perform Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2, and British violinist Callum Smart will perform Shostakovich Violin Concerto No. 1.
Maestro McPhee will give a new twist to our signature Holiday POPS! Programs which feature the Lexington Children’s Chorus, New World Chorale, and our traditional audience sing-along. In February, our Chinese New Year collaboration with the Chinese American Association of Lexington will feature Mongolian artist Monkho performing a magnificent concerto for the morin khuur, an ancient Mongolian 2-string instrument.
The season will wrap up with Jonathan McPhee’s full-length arrangement of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream featuring the Lexington Children’s Chorus.
It all adds up to another season you won’t want to miss!
Don’t miss Maestro Jonathan McPhee’s pre-concert talks at 6:30PM!
